A trio of year 10 students from Ormiston Sudbury Academy will see their creation come to life after they won a design competition.
Ned Nettleton, Gemma Marsh and Alfie Sagon (pictured left to right) designed an app which provides first aid information for young people.
The panel of judges was impressed by their design and thought their app filled a current gap in the market.
One of the winning students, 14-year-old Gemma, said she enjoyed working with the professionals.
“I will treasure the experience and I am looking forward to developing it further and seeing it being marketed,” she said.
The trio had tough competition with students from six other Ormiston academies also pitching their ideas to the panel.
