Six artists have banded together to stage their first combined exhibition of textile art, pottery and botanical drawings at Holy Trinity church in Long Melford.
The group, which calls itself Strands, formed two years ago after meeting through art societies.
“We all work independently but meet up once a month,” said Virginia Mackman, who works with felt and stitch.
The exhibition, which can be seen from Friday to Monday between 10am and 5pm in the Lady Chapel, includes more than 30 textile pictures.
Work on show by Virginia and fellow artists Elaine Archer, Brenda Green, Elizabeth Harrison, Victoria Power and Jane Smith includes beading and painting on silk. Admission is free, and some exhibits will be available to buy.
