More than 80 hours of live music across 17 different venues ensured the third B Natural festival in Bildeston lived up to expectations.

Organised by a seven-strong committee, the annual event staged in the village square and in pubs and gardens attracted a constant stream of visitors over the weekend.

Featuring performances from the Wattisham Military Wives choir as well as from indie and dance bands, the festival offered something for all tastes.

“It was a fantastic event and there was a great feeling on Monday morning after a wonderful weekend,” said Jocelyn Targett, one of the organisers.

“The weather held and it really was very special.”

Mr Targett said that word of mouth about the success of the previous festivals had led, he estimated, to more than 1,000 people attending.

“People came from far and wide after hearing about it and the village square was packed out,” he said.

“We had all different kinds of music and the crowds were extremely appreciative. It was very lively.”
