The Mayor of Sudbury went back to school this week to open the new Sixth Form Centre and Learning Resource Centre at Ormiston Sudbury Academy.

The new facilities at the Tudor Road Academy were completed during the summer and now offer students individual learning pods, new seating areas, new computers and a giant interactive touch screen.

Principal of OSA Caroline Wilson said: “This investment underlines our commitment to outstanding sixth form education. In addition to these fantastic new facilities we have given all new year 12 students their own, free, tablet computer.”
