A campaign to stop dog fouling in Sudbury and the surrounding area has been launched in schools.

As part of the campaign led by Sudbury Town Council’s community wardens and supported by Tesco and the Free Press, school children in Sudbury and Great Cornard have the opportunity to design a poster, with the winning design being put on community warden Bradley Smith’s car.

Last year Mr Smith led the campaign against litter in the town with Grace Hiskett’s winning slogan ‘Don’t ruin our town by throwing rubbish down’.

Now the fight is on to halt dog fouling in the area.

Mr Smith said: “It is important we deal with another menace on Sudbury’s streets.”
