A group run in support of those who live with multiple sclerosis has received a £300 boost.

Members of the Sudbury and Great Cornard MS Society were presented with a cheque for the amount on Thursday.

The funds were handed over by Lucy McLernon, from Sudbury company Border Roofing, which sponsored the society’s calendar.

“We cannot thank the company enough for this money,” said Karen Turner, a member of the group and sufferer of MS.

“We are very grateful for their help.”

Those who have MS can experience problems with fatigue, balance and vision.

The society meets at the Stevenson Centre in Great Cornard on the second Thursday of the month from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

All are welcome to attend.
