A CHANCE to parachute your teddy off a deanery tower, next to St Mary’s Church in Hadleigh, is being given to fete-goers.
The attraction proved popular last year, so this year fete organisers are doing it again to raise money for the church at a fete and dog show on Saturday, September 3, from noon to 4pm.
Children are being encouraged to spend some time during the summer holidays making a parachute for their teddy – possibly not their favourite one.
Owners will get to watch from The Deanery garden as their teddy parachutes down from the tower for £1. They can also buy a small teddy with a parachute at the fete.
The dog show includes agility and obedience demonstrations by pet training clubs and includes prizes for the best puppy, dog most like their owner, best trick, best rescue dog and best dog in show.
