Sudbury’s Befriending Scheme has thanked a funeral home for organising a raffle that raised £50.

Staff at the East of England Co-op Funeral Service in Sudbury raised £51.50 for The Befriending Scheme through a raffle which they planned and managed on the charity’s behalf.

The raffle was held at West Suffolk Crematorium’s open day on Saturday.

Joanna Belfield, community development officer at The Befriending Scheme, said: “A huge thank-you goes out to Emily Houghton and all her colleagues.”
