The Pride of Sudbury Awards is returning this year, two years after it was last run.

Pride of Sudbury has been running since 2003 finding and rewarding green-fingered members of the community.

It is open to all Sudbury residents and businesses with a number of categories.

The categories are: best kept garden, best planted container, best school, best community garden, best novice garden, best organic/natural garden, best commercial display, best allotment/vegetable garden, best amateur photograph, best hidden garden, best kept alleyway and best unconventional garden.

There will also be the best overall floral display award.

This is a singular award for exceptional effort and an outstanding contribution to Sudbury in Bloom and is awarded in any of the above.

All entrants will be invited to an awards ceremony evening in September and the winners of each category will receive gift vouchers and trophies.

All entries must be in by June 30. For further information and entry forms contact Sudbury Town Council at the Town Hall or Sudbury Tourist Information Centre based in the library.
