MOTORISTS breaking the speed limit in Suffolk are being targeted as part of a week-long campaign by Suffolk Police.
In 2010, six people died on Suffolk’s roads as a result of drivers speeding.
Suffolk Police have made reducing the number of deaths or serious injuries on the county’s roads a priority.
Chief Inspector Adrian Dawson, head of the force’s road policing unit, said: “People who speed need to realise they are not only putting their lives at risk, but also the lives of other road users.”
The week-long campaign started on Monday and will run until Sunday.
