THOMAS Hardy’s best-known short fiction will be brought to life when a touring theatre company performs its debut production in Sudbury.
The show, The Travelling Stories of Thomas Hardy, promises to be an energetic adaptation of three short stories, including The Withered Arm.
Victorian country dancing, folk songs and an original score of flute music are all on the bill, presented by Shropshire-based Blue Hills Theatre Company.
The Travelling Stories of Thomas Hardy will be performed at the Quay Theatre on Saturday, October 8 at 7.30pm. For tickets, contact the box office on 01787 374745.
