Plans to build four new houses on a plot of land in Sudbury are expected to be approved despite fears of over-development.
The three-bedroom homes would be built on a site in Queens Close following the demolition of an empty bungalow.
Initially, six houses had been earmarked for the land, but the number of properties – which are to include two parking spaces and back gardens – was reduced in March.
Sudbury Town Council has welcomed this change, although it remains worried about car parking and access, while a nearby resident has claimed that there will still be too many houses on the site.
Babergh District Council’s development committee has been recommended to approve the proposals, subject to certain agreements being met, when it meets on Wednesday.
