The tale of the Three Little Pigs tells the story of attempts to build separate houses to keep away the big bad wolf.
At Kentwell Hall in Long Melford, the adventures of four piglets is just beginning and they have no reason to fear any animal knocking at their door.
Born on Wednesday, the piglets are all doing well. Three are black, while one is ginger with black spots.
The piglets are being cared for by mum, Gingerbread – who weighs around half-a-tonne – with the assistance of their aunty, Fruit Cake, and the Kentwell Hall team.
“Every new birth at Kentwell is exciting and we all love piglets – especially as they grow up and start getting into mischief,” said hall owner Judith Phillips.
The piglets will go on view to visitors from this weekend.
