More than 50 singers, musicians and performers took to the pavements to busk in memory of teenage fundraiser Arran Tosh who died in June last year.
The event was organised by Alli Burke to raise money for the Smile of Arran Trust and Cancer Research UK.
In total £1,000 was raised in just four hours.
“It’s not just the money,” said Mrs Burke. “The money is brilliant and really necessary but it’s about giving the charity more visibility. People will start to recognise the charity and take it to their hearts as a local cause.”
