Open gardens in Alpheton and Shimpling

Residents in Alpheton and Shimpling will be raising funds for their respective churches by opening their gardens to the public next month.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 15, with gardens in the two villages on display from 1pm to 6pm.

Entry is by programme, which cost £4 for adults and are available on the day from Amicus in Old Bury Road, Alpheton, Shimpling House, in The Street, Shimpling, or Chiltern House in Little Chadacre.

Open gardens will be marked with balloons at the entrance. Refreshments will be available and some gardens will be selling plants.
