Volunteers who raise money to look after Sudbury Library are urging people to come along to the venue tonight.
Friends of Sudbury Library has organised a talk by historian Ashley Cooper about the building’s original role as a Corn Exchange.
Clare Gray said: “It’s a chance to enjoy this unique building’s atmosphere in a very different way – after-hours and in the good company of a proven popular speaker.”
Tickets, at £10 including wine, are available by calling the library on 01787 296000.
The Friends group was formed in response to Government cuts and the threat of closure.
