A number of new groups have been set up in Sudbury to help residents lose weight and have healthier lifestyles in the New Year.

Live Well Suffolk has launched five courses.

Lose Weight with Live Well Suffolk – starts Tuesday, January 5, for 12 weeks from 6pm – 7.30pm at Kingfisher Leisure Centre, Station Road, Sudbury.

Alternatively the course runs 1pm to 2.30pm, from Tuesday, January 12, for 12 weeks, also at Kingfisher Leisure Centre in Sudbury.

Beginners pilates also starts on January 12, running for six weeks from 5.30pm – 7pm at AFC Sudbury in Brundon Lane.

Lose Weight with Live Well Suffolk for Children starts on Monday, January 4, with one-to-one clinics running from 3pm–6pm at the Phoenix Children’s Centre on Tudor Road, Sudbury.

Sportivate for children and young people starts Wednesday, January 13, from 4pm –5.30pm at Sudbury Sports Centre, Tudor Road.

Live Well Suffolk also offers advice and support for those trying to quit smoking.
