Bryan Thurlow, a popular pantomime player at the Quay Theatre in Sudbury, is to present a light-hearted, potted history of British Music Hall with songs and monologues.
During the show Thurlow will take a look at the stars and artistes of the music hall era and the wide variety of songs and acts that contributed to the success of British music halls.
These include the saucy Marie Lloyd, Vesta Tilly - a woman who shockingly wore mens’ clothes - Little Titch, Albert Chevalier and Scotsman Harry Lauder.
The event takes place at 7.30pm on Friday, May 29 at the Sudbury Society in Friars Hall, School Street, Sudbury.
Tickets cost £2 for society members and £3 for visitors.
