Attempts to curb anti-social behaviour in Great Cornard may be helped by the introduction of a youth bus.
A number of residents in the village believe teenagers are causing problems because they have nothing to do.
Jan Osborne, Sudbury town councillor, said the topic was raised during a meeting attended by Suffolk Police Chief Constable Douglas Paxton and crime commissioner Tim Passmore.
“There were a couple of issues raised about Cornard and there was a feeling that the young people have no where to go and that contributes to anti-social behaviour,” said Mrs Osborne.
“Access to amenities in Sudbury can be difficult and a youth bus could improve that.”
Further discussions about a youth bus are expected to take place in the coming weeks.
