A Bildeston man will appear in court to answer a charge of murder.

Barry Estabrook, from Brooks View, was arrested and charged with the murder of Brian Knock in September.

Mr Knock, 38, was found with several stab wounds in Brooksfield, where he was understood to have been living, on September 1 and pronounced dead at the scene.

A post-mortem examination confirmed that the father-of-two died from multiple stab wounds.

Following his death, Mr Knock’s family paid tribute to his “fun-loving character” in a statement released through police.

“He was a loving, devoted son, the best dad in the world to his girls and loved dearly by them,” the statement read. “He was an amazing brother.”

Estabrook, 44, is due to appear at Ipswich Crown Court tomorrow when he is expected to enter a plea in relation to the charge.
