A Great Cornard man has been banned from driving for 16 months after being caught over the limit.

Warren Croft, from Kersey Avenue, was stopped by police on the A134 in Acton on October 13.

When breath tested, he registered 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35.

The 47-year-old, who pleaded guilty, was disqualified from driving and fined £375 at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court last Monday. He was also told to pay costs of £85.
