Patients have reported long queues at Sudbury Community Health Centre after a system failure.
There are long waiting times for the Church Field Road centre’s blood samples service.
Alan Briers from Beatty Road, Sudbury said he was fortunate as he had only had to wait around 20 minutes this morning but added there was a large number of patients waiting.
He said they had been told the centre’s computer system had failed.
Patients now phone to book timed slots, instead of the previous ticketed system.
A spokesman for NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group said “The phones are down. Engineers are on site trying to find the cause of the problem.”
He said he believed it was just the phlebotomy service which was affected.
