Sudbury solicitors Holmes & Hills has been recognised as one of the leading providers of specialist legal advice to individuals and businesses across the region.

For a fifth consecutive year the Legal 500 – an independent directory of the country’s law firms – has ranked Holmes & Hills, in North Street, as one of the leading law firms in the region.

The company, which has five offices in Suffolk and Essex, including Halstead, has been recognised as a provider of specialist legal advice in the areas of planning, commercial property, clinical negligence and personal injury law.

Commenting on the news, Sam Bawden, a partner at the Sudbury office, said: “We are pleased that the expertise and experience of the lawyers at Holmes & Hills has again been independently recognised as being amongst the best in the region across several areas of law. It is the only solicitors in Sudbury to be ranked as a ‘Leading Firm’ by the Legal 500.”

Receiving particular praise was Holmes & Hills’ planning and development team.

David Whipps was recognised as one of the leading planning law solicitors in the region, and all five planning law solicitors within the team were recommended individually for their specialist expertise.

The firm recently raised £8,000 for its chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, through an annual bike ride.
