St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds is to receive a cheque from Lavenham Players after its run with Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night.

The Players had a successful run with the play in 2015 allowing it to donate its additional funds.

It is also supporting the Community Land Trust in Lavenham and the proposed building at Lavenham Village Hall and Events Centre.

Anthony Faulkner Chair of Lavenham Players and owner of Lavenham Hall, where outside Shakespeare productions are staged, said: “We are delighted to be able to support various good causes locally.”

Lavenham Players is now auditioning for the comedy ‘One Man Two Guvnors’ on February 17 and 21.

The group is looking for anyone interested in auditioning, especially to play the part of Lloyd Boateng a Jamaican ex-con.
