Organisers behind a three-day festive spectacular in Lavenham have hailed the event as the best ever.
The Lavenham Christmas Fair attracted more than 10,000 people to the village after kicking off with the lights switch-on in the Market Place on Friday night, with attractions for all the family throughout the weekend.
Lesley Thompson, from the organising committee, said: “This really was the best fair ever – it was incredible to have so many people in the village over the weekend.
“We had around 3,000 people just on Friday night, which was quite amazing, and the weekend just followed suit.”
Around 80 stalls - selling a unique selection of gifts, clothes and stocking fillers as well as an array of food and drink - were held across the Market Place and the Guildhall and Little Hall.
The return of the big wheel was a popular attraction, offering bird’s eye views over the village and surrounding area, as was the wide variety of live musical entertainment.
