Young girl approached by man with long beard

Police are appealing for witnesses in a bid to find a man who approached a girl in Sudbury.

The incident took place in Chelsea Road on Sunday between 12.45pm and 1pm when a young girl, who was playing in the street, was approached by a dark-coloured vehicle that stopped beside her.

The man inside the vehicle tried to speak with the girl but she ran away and the man drove off.

He is described as white with a tanned complexion, black ear-length curly hair and a long beard. He was wearing glasses, a green T-shirt and was driving a blue or black coloured vehicle.
