A woman from Little Yeldham has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for conspiracy to commit a string of burglaries.

Abigale Pryor, of North End, was jailed at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday. The 26-year-old had denied the charge but was found guilty following a trial in December.

The court heard that Pryor had travelled to Suffolk with two men and committed three burglaries and two attempted burglaries in villages, including Bures and Preston St Mary, between April 3 and 5.

Stolen items, including jewellery, computers, mobile phones and cameras, amounted to more than £14,000 and the damaged caused when entering properties exceeded £1,500.

Billy Sewell, 25, from Chigwell, was sentenced to three years and seven months after pleading guilty. Matthew Button, 26, from Clacton, was jailed for two years and six months after also pleading guilty.
