Firefighters were called in to free a woman trapped in her car following a crash on the A134, near Long Melford.
Emergency services attended the collision between a green Land Rover and black Renault Clio at the cross-roads with Bull Lane at around 8.30am today.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Police said a woman in the Clio had to be cut free by fire crews and the driver of the Land Rover had suffered back pains.
The woman was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds with a suspected broken pelvis.
Earlier in the morning two drivers were taken to hospital after a crash involving a sugar beet lorry on the A1071 in Hadleigh. Both suffered minor injuries.
