Volunteers wanted to watch Sudbury CCTV

Sudbury police are looking for volunteers to help them monitor CCTV screens at the police station.

Officers have detected 45 public order offences since camera-monitoring started at the Acton Lane station on March 13.

Seven "Section 27" notices, banning troublemakers from an area of town for 48 hours, have also been served.

There are 24 cameras in the CCTV network, 16 of which monitor areas of Sudbury, with the rest set up throughout Hadleigh.
