Two women hurt after driver reverses into them in car park

A woman was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg after being hit by a car in a Sudbury supermarket car park.

A second woman suffered a minor hip injury after being struck by the same car, a silver Ford, in Roys car park in Great Eastern Road at around 12.10pm on Tuesday. It is believed the driver was reserving from a parking bay.

A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said a woman with leg injuries was taken to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds.
