This picture does not show the lengths people will go to find a parking spot in Sudbury town centre, as many might think, rather the perils of leaving off the handbrake.
A silver BMW crashed into railings outside St Peter’s in Market Hill at around 10.30am today. The car had been parked on the corner of King Street and East Street before it rolled back with no-one at the wheel.
“We think the owner left the handbrake off,” said Pc Gavin Goldfinch, from Sudbury Police.
The car sustained damage to its rear side. No-one was hurt in the incident.
