A video of a woman attacking a man with a newspaper in Sudbury has become an internet hit.

The two-minute clip, which has been uploaded to the video-sharing website YouTube, has become a hit after it was part of a Channel 5 TV programme aired last night.

Entitled Angry Brits: Caught on Camera, the show features videos of Britons losing their temper and included Sudbury resident Valerie Dunningham lashing out at her neighbour Luke Warr with a newspaper.

The 4ft 10ins tall Mrs Dunningham hit Mr Warr with the paper more than 20 times, as well pushing and kicking him and launching a verbal assault, including numerous expletives.

The row, which took place in 2009, has become a worldwide hit after the show, with most people commenting on the website supporting Mr Warr’s restraint.

The argument was over access rights to a driveway, which Mr Warr claimed his garage had a legal right to, and whether Mr Warr could or could not leave a rubbish bin there for collection.
