Sudbury Upper School celebrate at prom

IT was a night to remember for more than 200 Year 11 Sudbury Upper School students as they celebrated the end of their exams and bade farewell to many of their friends.

Dressed in their finest ball gowns and DJs pupils arrived by limousine, sports cars and even a jeep to let their hair down at Moot Hall in Colchester.

Kelly Webster, head of year 11, said: "The students went to a great deal of effort for the prom and really did the school proud and their behaviour was exemplary.

"A fantastic time was had by everyone on the night."

The majority of students will be returning to the sixth form at Sudbury Upper while many will be heading to college in Bury St Edmunds or Colchester.
