A Sudbury teenager who suffered life-threatening injuries in a single-car collision has died.

Ryan Noakes, 18, died in Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge yesterday afternoon, (Tuesday).

Police were called to the scene of the collision in Springlands Way in Sudbury on Wednesday, April 9, at 11.40pm, after reports that a black Vauxhall Astra Mr Noakes was driving had veered off the road and crashed.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area on the evening, who either saw the car travelling along the road prior to or when the collision occurred.

Calls should be made to Pc Allie Cotton at the serious collision investigation team on 101, quoting CAD 460 of 9/4/14.
