Sudbury set for extensive roadworks near roundabout

Motorists in Sudbury will face four weeks of roadworks from Monday (March 4).

Suffolk County Council will undertake repairs to more than a mile of the A134 from the roundabout at Newton Road and Northern Road up to the junction with Valley Road.

A spokeswoman for the council said: “To keep the road open, repairs will be carried out under two-way temporary traffic lights set up each day after the morning rush hour period and consequently removed before the start of the evening rush hour to minimise disruption.”

Works by BT that closed the B1115 Waldingfield Road in the town are due to be completed tomorrow (Thursday).
