Sudbury man faces six charges of fraud

A Sudbury man alleged to have conned his way to more than £18,000 has appeared in court.

Robert Fenner, of Melford Road, is charged with six counts of fraud by false representation over a three-week period in 2010.

The 37-year-old is also charged with attempting to conceal, disguise or remove criminal property worth £2,340.

The alleged offences took place in Great Cornard, Sudbury and Hadleigh.

Mr Fenner gave no plea when he appeared at Bury St Edmunds Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

He is set to attend Ipswich Crown Court on January 11.
