Sudbury BMX bench boost

CHARITABLE students have raised money to pay for a bench which is to be put in Sudbury’s BMX park.

Community warden Bradley Smith said the group of students from West Suffolk College had donated the money from the proceeds of a cake stall they held in Sudbury.

“They raised nearly £200, half of which is being donated to the BMX park and the other half is going to Cancer Research UK – which was good of them,” he said.

Bradley said the students, aged 16 to 25, were attending an educational course at the college which encouraged community giving.
