Stoke-by-Nayland council is the best around
From left, back row: Keith Cook, David Slater, Alan Shrosbery and Adam Sedgwick. Front row: council chairman Una Oakes, Tracey Ennew-Hayter and Vivienne Klimowicz.
Stoke-by-Nayland parish council has been voted the best in the county by judges.
Members were recognised for the council’s organisation, presentation of meetings and community involvement by judges from the county council, after coming second in the Babergh category of Suffolk Village of the Year.
“We were very pleased as a lot of councillors have been involved a long time and have worked very hard,” said councillor Alan Shrosbery.
