Music lovers were spoilt for choice at the five-day Bures Music Festival which finished on Sunday with a family day on the village’s recreation ground in Nayland Road.

Now in its 18th year, the not-for-profit event has raised more than £150,000 for charity since it first began. This year’s event was no exception and was described as the “biggest and busiest ever”. Organiser Marsha Moore said Saturday night’s event was sold out, and a dramatic thunder storm added to the exciting atmosphere.
