Snowball-throwing youths assault man

A man suffered injuries to his face after he confronted a group throwing snowballs at cars in Great Cornard.

The attack took place at around 7.50pm on Sunday in Poplar Road. The victim was kicked and punched by around six youths after he stopped and challenged them. A police spokeswoman said the man sustained slight injuries. Call Police on 101.
