Sudbury Rowing Club hosts its 134th annual regatta on Saturday, with racing taking place right through the day from 8.30am to 7pm.
The event has grown in size over the years and now attracts rowers from all over the UK.
Last year, more than 2,000 people watched around 180 races from the spectator area on Friars Meadow in Sudbury.
They included juniors and adults racing in singles and doubles, and then larger crew boats with fours and sprint eights.
Live music, a beer tent, hog roast, barbecue, teas and homemade cakes, and children’s activities are included.
Regatta secretary Lee Adams said: “People can relax with a drink on a beautiful stretch of the River Stour and entry is free.”
