An inquest into the death of a Great Cornard man who died in hospital after a car crash in 2006 was held on Tuesday.
Sukwinder Bhaker, 37, of Minsmere Way, died in Colchester General Hospital on November 24, 2006, after the car he was driving overturned on Valley Road, near Newton, on August 14 the same year.
Mr Bhaker, who suffered severe head injuries, was released from his silver Ford Mondeo by fire crews.
The married father-of-three, who was a popular karate instructor, worked as a postman.
He had moved to the village from Middlesborough in 2001.
Coroner Dr Peter Dean recorded a verdict of accidental death at the inquest, held at the Active Business Centre, Bury St Edmunds.
