Pool set for £168k repair works

Sudbury’s Kingfisher Leisure Centre is set for £168,000 of repair work to underground concrete ducts around its swimming pool.

Babergh District Council is expected to approve the work, which will be carried out between March and July, on Thursday.

The pool will remain open while the work – paid for through the authority’s general fund – takes place.
