Police seek information on Lavenham burglary and theft

Witnesses who may have information about a burglary and thefts from two cars in Lavenham are being urged to come forward by police.

Thieves stole a laptop, a bag, a wallet, a purse, a mobile phone and cash from a property in Spring Street between 12.30am and 4.30am on Monday after gaining entry through a rear door.

Two cars parked on a separate driveway, also in Spring Street, were broken into between 11.30pm on Sunday and 6.50am on Monday, with a sat nav taken from one of them.

A police spokesman said officers were looking at the possibility that the same people were responsible for both crimes due to their times and locations.

Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
