This is the moment, captured on CCTV, that an elderly woman had her handbag snatched as she made her way through Sudbury.
Police have released the image in an effort to track down the man they would like to speak to in connection with the robbery.
The woman, who was in her 70s, was walking along the alleyway between Winch and Blatch on Market Hill, on April 5 at 2.10pm, when her bag was stolen.
She was pushed on the shoulder from behind and her handbag, which she was carrying in a mobility walking frame, was snatched. The robber then ran off down the alleyway in the direction of the bus station.
He is described as a white man, around 5’9 to 5’10” tall and wearing a tight fitting cap or hat. He also wore a coat or top in a dirty grey/blue colour and old, scruffy looking trousers, possibly jeans as well as a striped top.
If anyone recognises the man they are asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting the reference SU/14/623 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
