Suffolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner will be visiting Hadleigh in September as part of a county wide tour.

Tim Passmore will be visiting town’s across Suffolk alongside Suffolk Police’s Chief Constable Douglas Paxton.

The pair will stop off in Hadleigh at the Morrisons supermarket in Calais Street on September 2.

On the day the mobile police station will be there between 12pm and 5pm with Mr Passmore present from 1pm to 4pm.

It is hoped the public will attend to speak about any issues while the safer neighbourhood team will also be there to answer any local queries.

“Having direct contact with the people I represent is extremely important,” said Mr Passmore.

“I make myself available to anyone who needs to speak to me through one-to-one surgeries, via e-mail and the phone, but it is equally important to have opportunities for people to just turn up and have a conversation.

“I do hope people will accept this invite to come and find out more about policing. Douglas and I will be pleased to discuss any matter that arises.”
