Pedestrian injured in car accident

A woman was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Pebmarsh.

The incident took place in Cross End on Monday at 3.35pm.

A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said the woman, who was in her 40s, sustained minor injuries.

She was taken to Colchester General Hospital for treatment.
