With the weather holding, visitors ventured out for the seventh annual Long Melford open gardens.
The event was hailed as a success by organiser Robert Clubb. Raising money for the Holy Trinity Church, the poor forecast may have contributed to less funds being raised than last year, but Mr Clubb said it was sunny for most of the day as visitors were treated to an array of beautifully manicured lawns and colour co-ordinated flower beds.
