A redundant church described as one of Suffolk’s best kept secrets will be open on September 7, with a free talk at 3.30pm by historian Val Herbert.

The 15th century St Mary’s Church, Chilton, houses the medieval tomb of armour-clad Robert Crane and Lady Anne Arundell.

The church will be open from 10am to 5pm.
