New garden to benefit home’s residents

Friars Hall nursing home in Hadleigh had its new garden officially opened by town mayor Sue Angland at the weekend.

The garden has been extended and now includes an aviary, which is very popular.

“It’s important for our residents because the sensory part helps with dementia, which many of our patients suffer from,” said Sarah Brown, activities co-ordinator at the home. “They have been using it quite a bit since it was finished.”
